WGS GR1 Rugs

This rug is made from Sea Grass grown in the tropical climates of China and Vietnam, in coastal meadows on the banks of rivers.

The crop is harvested by hand, dried and hand spun into cords before being woven into flooring.

Its inherent strength makes it a practical flooring, which is used widely. The look can be fashionably chunky or beautifully fine. Part of its charm lies in its naturally flawed finish.

The grass is backed in latex and has a 100% linen border which is hand applied in the UK.
