Regular Care

Your new rug will last longer and look better if a routine of regular vacuuming is followed. Vacuuming helps prevent dirt on the surface of the rug filtering down into the pile where it can accumulate and cause increased wear. We also suggest that you rotate your rug on a regular basis particularly if the rug is continually exposed to direct sun light which can have a bleaching effect on the yarn.

Spills & Stains

Accidents can happen any time. If you have a rug made from Espirelle it shouldn't be a problem. Firstly BLOT up excess spills with a clean white cloth or paper towel. Never rub, as this can spread the stain.

Thanks to the unique acrylic yarn used in espirelle 90% of spots and stains can be removed using water only. Work from the outer edge to the centre using a clean cloth. Avoid soaking the effected area as this can spread the stain. If the stain does not come out we suggest you try 'JAMES'.
